About SlideQuest

Classroom games for Filipino teachers, built to survive a real classroom.

What this is

SlideQuest is a small library of whole-class review games that run in a browser. A teacher picks one, retypes the questions for the class in front of them, and presents it from one laptop. The game keeps the score, runs the timer, and remembers which tiles have been played.

Every game is mapped to a published DepEd MELC code where one applies, so it can be matched against a DLL without guesswork.

What it is not

SlideQuest is independent and is not an official DepEd product, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Education. Mapping a game to a published competency code is a reference, not an endorsement.

It is also not a student platform. Students do not need accounts, and nothing about a student is entered, stored, or asked for — these are games run from the front of a room.

Review the content

Games can be customised, and content a teacher writes or edits is their own. Read through any game before presenting it. We check what we publish, but the person who knows whether a question suits a particular class is the teacher standing in front of it.

Who runs it

SlideQuest is operated under the name SlideQuest. Write to hello@slidequest.app — a person reads it. If you have found something wrong in a game, that is the fastest way to get it fixed.

How the guides are published

Blog posts are published by the SlideQuest Editorial Team. We link to the primary source for calendar dates, policy, and research claims whenever one is available, and show when a guide was updated.

The byline describes the organization responsible for the work. It does not imply a DepEd affiliation or credentials we have not independently verified.
