Help

The things teachers ask before their first period with this.

Running a game in class

Open the game and press the button on the title screen. Use the fullscreen control in the top right before the class comes in — the board is sized for a projector. Every game keeps its own score, and the scoreboard can be corrected by hand if a round goes sideways.

Playing with no wifi

On a game's page, press Save for offline while you still have a connection. The button only says it is saved once the browser has actually stored the page and everything it needs. After that the game opens on that laptop with the network off.

Saved games are listed under On this device. A Pro game stays available offline until the end of the period you have paid for.

Making a game your own

Press Customize for my class on any game you can open. You get your own copy in an editor — retype any question, then preview and play it. The published game is untouched, and your copy is only yours.

Old laptops and projectors

The games run in any current browser and are built for a projector: large type, high contrast, and controls big enough to hit without looking. If a game is unreadable on your projector, tell us which one and we will fix its sizing.

Do I need an account to try a game?
No. The free games open and play straight in the browser. An account is only needed to make your own version of a game and keep it.
Will it work when the school wifi doesn't?
Yes. Save a game while you have a connection and it opens on that laptop with the network off — no login screen in front of thirty children.
Do students need accounts or devices?
No. These are whole-class games run from one laptop or projector. Nothing is collected about students, because nothing about them is ever entered.
Can I change the questions?
Yes. Open any game you have access to, retype the questions for your section or your language, and play it straight away. Free accounts keep up to 3 of their own games; Pro has no limit.
Is SlideQuest official DepEd material?
No. SlideQuest is independent. Games are mapped to published DepEd MELC codes so you can match them to your DLL, and you should read through any game before presenting it.
What does Pro cost, and can I cancel?
₱199 a month, or ₱1,490 a year. You can cancel any time; access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
Write to hello@slidequest.app. A real person reads it.

Still stuck

Write to hello@slidequest.app or use the contact form. Say which game and which browser, and it will be quicker.
